You do not need to carry everything alone

A space for reflection, understanding, and meaningful change

The pressures people don’t always see.

I understand how difficult it can feel to open up when you have spent a long time carrying things internally, appearing “fine,” or feeling responsible for holding everything together around you.

The work is about helping you understand yourself more clearly, process what has been emotionally weighing on you, and create meaningful change in a way that feels manageable and genuine to you.

Success does not always feel the way it looks.

Many of the people I work with are managing careers, responsibilities, relationships, and expectations while privately experiencing emotional fatigue, overthinking, self-criticism, burnout, or a growing sense of something is no longer sustainable.

Outwardly, life may appear manageable. Internally it can feel very different. Through counselling and coaching, we work towards greater awareness, healthier patterns, and sustainable change.

Who I work with

People carrying unresolved trauma or emotional pain
Those feeling emotionally disconnected despite external success
Individuals struggling with anxiety, overthinking or emotional exhaustion
Professionals experiencing burnout or chronic stress
Those wanting emotional clarity and healthier coping strategies
Adults carrying pressure, responsibility or emotional suppression for prolonged periods

Supporting you towards greater emotional clarity, balance, and internal stability.

My work is reflective, emotionally focused, and individually tailored. No two people experience pressure, burnout, or emotional strain in the same way. Because of this, I do not take a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I focus on helping you understand not only what you are experiencing, but why those experiences may have developed, and how they are showing up in your present life. The aim is greater emotional clarity, stability, and self-understanding.

My professional journey began long before I became a counsellor.

Qualifications and Training

> Stress Awareness

Throughout my career, I have worked alongside leaders, professionals and individuals facing significant responsibility, change and uncertainty. Whether supporting organisational transformation, career transitions, workplace pressures or personal development, one pattern appeared repeatedly: the people who seemed most capable on the outside were often carrying the greatest pressure in private.

As a Change Manager, Executive Coach and Leadership Development professional, I worked closely with people facing increasing demands, high expectations and complex professional challenges. These experiences gave me a deep understanding of the emotional impact that pressure, responsibility and success can have, even when life appears to be going well from the outside.

Over time, I became increasingly interested in the human experience beneath these challenges. The anxiety hidden behind competence. The self-doubt behind achievement. The emotional exhaustion that often remains unseen. This led me to expand my work into counselling, bringing together my background in leadership development, coaching and personal growth with formal therapeutic practice.

Today, I work with high-functioning professionals, leaders and individuals who are often carrying more than others realise. They may appear capable, dependable and successful, yet privately struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, emotional overwhelm, self-criticism or a growing sense of disconnection from themselves.
I believe meaningful change begins with greater self-understanding. Many people spend years meeting expectations while losing touch with their own needs, feelings and identity. My role is to provide a safe, reflective space where you can step away from pressure, make sense of your experience and develop greater clarity, resilience and emotional wellbeing.

Many people live two lives — one the world sees and one they survive in private. Therapy offers an opportunity to bring those worlds closer together.

What others say about me

★★★★★

Success in Habit Formation

“I’d never attended counselling before I started working with Sukhi. I feel fortunate to have spent the time I have working with her; she is a great listener and always makes me feel heard and understood. She’s great at eliciting reflection and thought in a particularly gentle and patient way. As time has passed I’ve found myself more and more looking forward to our sessions.” Scott – Birmingham

★★★★★

Trauma Processing

“I took counselling to discuss long-standing trauma I experienced since childhood. Suki helped to eliminate my confusion, notice patterns and feel understood. I was able to move on from a large part of my trauma that was overwhelming, that I had never spoken about before. I was glad for the space that Sukhi provided that was safe and confidential.” Abi – Sutton Coldfield

Feeling understood

“For the first time, I felt understood without needing to explain every detail. Thank you so much.”
